COC Meeting

Reflection & Moving Forward

The COC comes together to reflect and give direction.

Over the past few months, the COC Steering Committee has worked diligently on relevant racial justice issues in our area, including CRT, voting rights, the Aaron Dean trial, and various other occurrences. Simultaneously, we are in the process of moving forward with the transition into 501(c)(3) organization to get access to available funding and other benefits supporting our cause.

Join us and participate in this important upcoming meeting to both reflect on our current process and collaborate on the COC’s future direction. Topics to be discussed include:

  • Reflection on the Aaron Dean trial and response to COC’s call for peace

  • Update on efforts to recognize opportunities for voting rights legislation

  • Report on Fort Worth ISD Superintendent Search after June 2 meeting

  • Review of racial justice educational forum to inspire open and honest discussions among youth and adults

  • Status on 501(c)(3) incorporation

  • Future direction of COC

Voice your perspective and share your insight in our safe space for faith leaders and representatives of many backgrounds and beliefs. As an interfaith collaboration for racial justice we stand for diversity, equity, inclusivity, and justice for all.
