Aaron Dean Trial

With notice of a jury being seated we expect the trial of Aaron Dean to proceed as scheduled on Monday, December 5. We have awaited this time for three years now and make a call today for justice and peace in our community.

Calling for Justice and Peace

Transcript

Hello, we are the Circle of Clergy, an interfaith collaboration working for racial justice and unity in Fort Worth and beyond.

With the upcoming trial of Officer Aaron Dean in the shooting death of Atatiana Jefferson, we pray for a just and healing verdict in this case.

We strongly support the right of all citizens to gather and protest peacefully for the cause of justice and civil rights in our city and nation.

As clergy and followers of various faiths, we stand with all people of goodwill in Fort Worth.

Together, let us seek compassion and kindness for all in our city. And let us make it happen by means of shalom, salaam, peace, and with justice for all everywhere.
